Requirements for Homeowner Repair Program Bidding

Contractors interested in bidding on Homeowner Repair programs must provide the following documentation to be considered for project opportunities.

References

Provide a minimum of three (3) professional references from recent homeowner repair or renovation projects. References should include contact information and project details demonstrating your experience with similar work.

Proof of General Liability Insurance

Current certificate of general liability insurance coverage with minimum coverage amounts as specified in program requirements. Insurance must be valid throughout the duration of any awarded contracts.

Proof of Worker's Compensation

Valid worker's compensation insurance documentation covering all employees and subcontractors who will be working on the project.

Lead Renovator Certificate

Copy of EPA Lead Renovator Certificate (RRP Certification) required to bid on homes built before 1978 or any projects involving potential lead hazards.

Important: This certification is mandatory for working on homes with potential lead paint hazards. Projects cannot proceed without proper certification.
