Where construction is to be supported with federal funds, ARa provides the following services:

• Provides the contractor and engineer or architect with information and documents to enable them to fully comply with federal and state labor standards requirements and assists the contractor as requested
• Prepares for the grantee and the project engineer or architect all federal and state required labor standards forms, notices and certifications, and conducts pre-construction conference(s)
• Advises the grantee regarding the required appointment of a Labor Standards Officer and trains and advises the Labor Standards Officer of required labor standards on-site monitoring activities
• Reviews information developed by the Labor Standards Officer for compliance with OCRA and federal regulations
